Portlaoise / Slieve Blooms Cycle

William Telford has been in touch over the Summer and is organising a charity cycle from Portlaoise on Sun August 19. The cycle, a 100k spin over The Slieve Blooms, will start from Portlaoise Rugby Club, sign on from 9am with a 10am start. The cycle will be fully marshalled with a food stop in Kinnity and refreshments and showers at the rugby club. An enjoyable day is assured. There are also options for a shorter 'leisure' cycle 40k route, and a family option also. All proceeds for the Cuisle Centre, a very worthy local cause. For more details check out their facebook page
